Casino Gunman to be sentenced

Back in 2009 Mark Magee went to the Trump Taj Mahal Casino and shot Ray Kot a shift manager at the casino because he believed the casino was cheating gamblers at the table games such as craps. Magee know Kot because he was a frequent customer at the casino. This week a judge is going to set the sentence for Magee.

Kot had been with at the casino since they opened in 1990 and had worked his way up to the manager position. Kot came from China to the United States in 1970 and could not speak any English. He worked hard to learn language and then proceeded to do well at the casino.

Magee is just fifty eight years old and he believed the casino was manipulating the table games electronically to cheat the players. Magee decided to take out his anger on Kot and now he faces at least thirty years in prison. Hopefully justice will be served in this case.
