The Hollywood Casino in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania are looking to hire several hundred people to run their table games once state lawmakers legalize table games. The casino is currently running virtual table gaming but they look forward to offering craps and other table games in the near future. The casino will need dealers for every table game they will be offering customers, which includes Craps, Blackjack, Roulette and baccarat as well as poker tables. The casino is expecting to offer around forty table games.
Frank Quigley the General Manager of the Hollywood Casino commented that it takes more than one person to operate a table game. Quigley commented: “A craps table for instance, you need four dealers and two supervisors for the day.”
Lawmakers in Pennsylvania have to decide on the license fee and tax rate before the table games will be legalized. Quigley expects that once this has been decided it will be six to nine months before Hollywood can offer the games to their players.
