Joe Gesualdi of Johnston recently visited the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut with his brother to enjoy playing craps. Joe must use a wheelchair to get around because he suffers from arthritis. Surprisingly while Joe was visiting the casino his wheelchair was stolen. When Joe and his brother arrived at the craps table a Foxwoods attendant told Joe’s brother where to place the wheelchair. Joe stated that he usually puts the chair at a space around the craps table so he can keep an eye on it but they told him to place it far across the room and he could not see it from where he was sitting.
While Joe was enjoying his craps game, the Foxwoods security cameras picked up the image of an elderly couple taking his wheelchair. The video was reviewed after Joe mentioned his chair was missing. The chair will cost $600 to replace.
Joe purchased his wheelchair at Alpha Surgical and they owner of the store is willing to work with Joe to get him a new chair but they must get the police report from Foxwoods before he can get his new chair. The report is needed to have the chair replaced for free. So far Foxwoods has refused to send over the police report.
According to a report by NBC 10, Foxwoods management has not commented on Joe and his missing wheelchair.
