Delaware Changes Table Game Laws

Lawmakers in the state of Delaware have decided to relax some of their laws by allowing a few table games at the slot machine casinos. Operators will now be able to add craps, poker and blackjack as part of their options for players.

This past Wednesday the House Committee decided to take definite steps to voting to release a bill that will allow the games to be legal. The state should see at least 66% of the gambling revenues compared to the previous 29% that was coming in.

The new bill will also create a state lottery commission that will help regulate and oversee the new table games as well as a new division that will be enforcing the regulations; this will be called the gaming enforcement.

One of the state senate committee members released a separate bill at the same time that this new bill was passed. This bill is aimed at all levels of cheating that can take place during the table games. This new bill will prevent any cheating from taking place as those who would do so would face charges.
