Gao Ge is a former casino cheater that has reformed his ways and is now helping others break their gambling habits. Ge used to travel the entire continent of Asia cheating casinos out of a ton of cash but now the former cheater uses his skills to help players break any gambling habits they may have. Ge has created a mock casino that allows players to come inside and see how he cheats the casino and how they can break their gambling habits. Ge commented on how he changed his life by stating: “I woke up, and now I want to lift more people out of the abyss that is gambling. I just want to make them see the truth that they will always lose. Casinos are for cheaters, I don’t think anyone would want to go on gambling after they discover the truth.”
Ge’s mock casino is located in Shenyang and since last year the former cheater and ten volunteers have helped around five hundred people to quit gambling. The volunteers are all former addicts as well and Ge has been able to help them as well.
Many people have criticized Ge’s methods to teaching players how to quit gambling, saying that Ge is just teaching people how to cheat the casino. However, Ge says that what he does is just a performance. He does not teach them how to cheat and the tricks he shows take about a year or two to learn how to perform them.
