The Kansas Star casino is a new casino that has opened up in the state of Kansas. The casino is set to open officially on December 26th but the casino recently opened up its doors so the new dealers could practice their skills and make sure they are ready for customers. The craps tables were full as dealer’s practice paying out to customers and running the game. Everyone was very excited to be on the casino floor and as the opening date approaches, dealers are getting excited to get started for real.
The casino is only temporary as a new location, as a large facility is going to be built which will be 100,000 square feet of gaming space. The casino is expected to draw over two million people and bring in around $150 million in revenues from the table games as well as slot games.
The casino may not be open yet but players are already signing up to be a part of the Players Club. Almost 26,000 players from thirty nine states have joined the Players Club as they away the opening of the casino.
The construction has already started on the larger permanent casino which will be located nearby the temporary casino. The new location is 170 acres and is located about twenty miles south of Wichita. The new permanent site will be about seventy percent larger than the temporary location and should be ready by late 2012 or early 2013.
