Boot Hill Casino is a new casino in the state of Kansas and it will be ready for operation in about one month. This new casino will be the first state run casino in the Kansas and the operators are still looking to fill dealer positions. Table Games Manager Chris Bourneuf commented on a recent news program: “When people applied, they applied for positions they were familiar with so we really didn’t have that many.”
The casino is currently running a dealer school which will teach people how to deal at the table games such as craps and blackjack. The school is currently halfway through. The school will help the dealers know the proper procedures for dealing the games such as craps and blackjack.
Rashell Taylor is one who is going through the dealer school. She commented that the whole aspect of the job is to have fun and be professional. She also commented that you have to be precise but still have fun with the customers.
