Tomorrow the Mardi Gras Casino in Hallendale Beach will be hosting a special event called The Crappiest Promotion. The event will give 120 people the chance to win up to $90,000 in bonus free play. South Florida casinos cannot legally offer craps but this promotion brings the feel of the game while still remaining within the law. Players must be a Mardi Gras Casino Player’s Club member to participate and if you are not a member you can sign up easily. The promotion will begin this Friday and take place every Friday in the month of April. Six hour drawings will take place from 4:45pm. Five player’s club members will be chosen each hour that have used their card that day and they will compete in the hourly game.
At the top of each specific hour the players will move to a large sixteen foot table. The players will be given two huge purple dice and they will roll the dice and based on the outcome they will win bonus money or lose bonus money for the entire team of five players.
If the first roll is a seven then $1,000 will be given to the team. The player can then choose to roll again or pass to another player. The maximum number of rolls per player is three. If the player passes then the next person will roll. The game will continue until each player has rolled. At the end of the game all the bonus money will be credited to each players account.
If a player rolls a two, three or twelve they lose their turn and the bonus money accrued at that point. Below is a breakdown of what can be won with each roll of the dice:
2, 3, or 12 = $0 “Crappiest Roll” Player Loses
4 = $50 Bonus Play
5 = $100 Bonus Play
