Richard “Mr. Casino” Taylor is a name many will never forget as he has changed their lives forever. Creating a cheating scam that affected people at both Foxwoods and the Mohegan Sun casino, Taylor was the ring leader and earned a ten year sentence for cheating at the game of craps at Foxwoods. One of his accomplices was recently tried and convicted for his role in the scam.Johnnie Baker, age thirty eight, was the only casino employee from the Mohegan Sun that was connected to the scam. The eleven other casino employees came from Foxwoods casino. Baker pleaded guilty to fourth degree larceny and earned a fully suspended sentence.
Baker was charged because he accepted money from Taylor in exchange for paying Taylor $11,500 for four late bets that were placed at the craps table in 2008. Taylor made this very same deal with other dealers at Foxwoods and paid them off for allowing him to make late bets as well. Since Taylor’s trial is finished for his scam at Foxwoods he is now about to stand trial for cheating at the Mohegan Sun.
