The Nevada Gaming Control Board has approved the addition of a new craps game crated by Aruze Gaming America. The game is the first to be approved that is an electro-mechanical game in the craps genre. The game is titled Shoot to Win Craps and it offers players the opportunity to shoot the dice with a Bash Button if the betting is taking place during a live game. The game uses a touch screen for the betting interface and this allows players to place wagers in the same manner as a regular craps game. The game has repeating bets available and the touch screen makes it easy for players to move their credits off and on the board.
There is also a guide built into the game which gives players the option of learning how to play the game of craps. This is a great option for beginners who have never played the game before. There are also options available for those who are on the advanced level. Advanced players can wager ‘lay’ and ‘place’ bets and the touch screen makes for a speedy wagering experience.
Steve Walther the Aruze Gaming America vice president of marketing commented on the new game by stating: “Aruze Gaming partnered with New York-New York Hotel & Casino for the Shoot to Win Craps field trial and we are thrilled with the results. The game continues to perform strong and the player feedback is very positive.”
"The games performed well during the 30-day trial, players enjoy them and the games create a tremendous amount of excitement. We look forward to the games remaining on our floor,” stated Mike DeJong the vice president of Slot Operations at New York-New York.
