On Tuesday Allan M. Grossman was arraigned in New London Superior Court for his role in the Foxwoods Craps scheme. Grossman was charged with first degree larceny, cheating during gambling and conspiracy to commit cheating. Grossman is being held on $200,000 bond. Grossman is part of the large Foxwoods Craps scheme which was run by Richard ‘Mr. Casino’ Taylor. Over twelve people have been arrested as part of the craps scheme and the ring leader, Taylor, has been sentenced to a ten year prison sentence.
According to state police, Grossman was one of Taylor’s guys. He would be a player who would use code words to tip off participating dealers who would then accept late best at the craps tables. Grossman would push his tips at the table after the outcome of the dice was already known during the game.
