The Summit Township Casino, the Presque Isle Downs, is getting ready for the July release of their new table games. The casino will be offering their players craps, blackjack, roulette and other table games in just a few days. The games are expected to start on July 8th and players are getting very excited. The casino has been very busy as they are creating a new table game area, slot machine area as well as a Triple Crown buffet where players can view the races while they enjoy a nice meal.
Kevin Ryan the director of table games at the casino commented: “we’re very excited. We’ve all been working on this a long time. The students (new dealers) have put their heart and soul into learning a new field.”
The training schools have been running for several months now to get dealers ready for the new table games. The table game supervisors began working on the twenty first of this month to get ready for the games release. Overall the casino has spent around $25 million on the construction of the new areas. Part of that cost was $16.5 million which was the one time licensing fee to offer the new games.
